Connecting Stripe

Deposit money goes to your Stripe account, not ours. We never hold it — it lands with you and we take a platform fee on the way past.

Everything is under Settings → Payments, in the section headed Deposits & no-show protection. There is also a fuller walkthrough behind 📘 Read the setup guide on that screen.

Connecting your account

1. Press Connect with Stripe. You are handed to Stripe.

2. Answer Stripe's questions — business details, ABN, and the bank account you want paid into. This is Stripe's process, not ours, and they ask what they are legally required to ask.

3. You are returned here when they are done. If you stopped halfway, the button reads Finish Stripe onboarding — pick up where you left off.

Reading the status badge

A badge beside the buttons shows where the account stands. It only becomes active once Stripe is satisfied, which can take a moment after you finish — or longer if they want a document.

Refresh status re-checks with Stripe. Use it if you have just finished onboarding and the badge has not caught up.

After it is active

Connecting alone charges nobody. Two more things have to happen: you acknowledge the platform fee, and you write at least one deposit rule. Until both are done, guests book exactly as they did before.
