Reading your reports
Covers, reservations, no-show and cancellation rates, spend, and your deposit totals — with CSV exports for anything you want in a spreadsheet.
The numbers
Reports opens on a row of totals for the period you choose:
- Covers served and Reservations — people, and bookings. The gap between them is your average party size.
- No-show rate, highlighted once it climbs. This is the number to look at before deciding about deposits.
- Cancellation rate — different from no-shows, and much less painful: a cancellation gives the table back.
- Total spend and Avg spend / cover.
- Completed visits, with your most frequent guests listed below.
There is also a covers-by-day chart, which is where a pattern shows up.
Deposit totals
If you take deposits, a second block shows Held, Charged and Refunded for the period — enough to reconcile a month without opening bookings one at a time.
Exporting to CSV
The CSV buttons download what you are looking at. Opens in Excel, Numbers or Sheets, and is the right thing to send an accountant rather than a screenshot.
Reading them honestly
Compare like with like — a month against the same month last year, not against the one before it. Hospitality is seasonal enough that January against December tells you about the calendar rather than about your venue.
