Setting up your floor

Add a room, add its tables with the smallest and largest party each seats, then set up combinations for tables you push together.

Everything the booking page offers is worked out from this list. No tables, no availability — so it is the first thing to get down, and the one part of setup you cannot guess.

It all lives on the Floor plan screen. Owners and managers can edit it; hosts can look but not change it.

Add a room

A room is just a grouping — main dining, courtyard, upstairs. If you only have one space, make one room and move on.

  1. Open Floor plan and press + Room.

  2. Give it a Room name your staff would recognise, and save.

Add your tables

  1. On the room, press + Table.

  2. Label is what your staff call it — T1, 14, Window. It appears on the timeline and the day sheet, so use the name people already say out loud.

  3. Min guests and Max guests are the smallest and largest party you would seat there. Save, and repeat.

Each room shows its own running total — the number of tables and the maximum covers they add up to — which is a quick check that you have not missed one.

Joining tables together

If you push two fours together for a party of eight, tell the system so it can offer that. A Table combinations entry is only used when no single table fits, so it never steals a table from an ordinary booking.

  1. Press + Combination.

  2. Under Tables (pick 2+), choose the tables that actually go together in the room.

  3. Set Min guests and Max guests for the joined arrangement, and save.

Only combine tables you would really push together. A combination on paper that does not work in the room becomes a booking your staff cannot seat.

Taking a table out of service

Each table card carries a Deactivate link. Use it for a wobbly leg, a booth being reupholstered, a season where the courtyard is shut. The card greys out and reads Inactive, the table stops being offered, and Activate brings it back exactly as it was.

Use that rather than Delete. Delete is for a table that no longer exists in the room.
