What your guests see
Guests pick a date, party size and time, leave their details, and get an email with a link that lets them change or cancel without an account.
Worth walking through once yourself. Open your own booking page and go as far as the details screen — it takes a minute and it is the only way to see what your settings actually produce.
Making a booking
The page opens on your venue's name, your welcome message and a date strip. A guest picks the number of guests and a date, and the page shows Available times for that day.
Those times are not your opening hours. They are the times you can seat this party on that day, once tables, turn times, the gap between seatings and your pacing caps have all had their say. Two guests looking at the same evening with different party sizes can honestly see different times.
If nothing fits, the page says so plainly rather than showing an empty list — and if you have the waitlist switched on, offers Join the waitlist instead. A guest who joins is told You're on the waitlist and gets an email if a table for their party frees up on that date.
Then their details, and if you have deposits or no-show cover turned on for that booking, the card step. Otherwise the booking is done.
The confirmation email
They get an email with the booking and a link to manage it. Your confirmation thank-you message appears on screen the moment it lands.
Changing or cancelling
The link in the email opens their reservation — date, time and party — with two buttons: Change reservation and a cancel option that asks Yes, cancel it before doing anything.
No account, no password. The link itself is the key, which is the point: a guest changing a Tuesday booking will not create an account to do it, and one who has to ring you instead usually just does not turn up.
Changing re-checks availability exactly as a new booking would, so a guest cannot move themselves onto a table you do not have. If the new time is not offered, it is not available.
A cancelled booking frees the table immediately and shows on your floor as cancelled. An old or already-used link shows Reservation not found rather than anything alarming.
